First Descent of the Loop on a Stand Up Board
Recently Shane from liquid logic kayaks and designer of the Versa Board came by to visit. We set out to try the roto molded plastic SUP board on the "Loop" section of the Lower Yough. This was a first time for a SUP to go down this section based on Ohiopyle DCNR park regulations that do not permit single chamber inflatables, or epoxy surf boards on the river. We had HD head cams and video cams fired up for some crazy Class III white water Sup'in that involved some really good laughs and spills.
